  6. Finally PB-4 for Lt Cols & clarifications for Col(TS) has come. Also order regarding pension calculations for MNS ladies and other service officers.

Fom above orders it appear that pension of Lt col(MNS) is 1/3 of pension of Lt Cols of other officers. This much is the discrimination in pension as well as in regular salary.

According to Pay orders issued by Ministry of defence under 6th CPC pay scales of Military Nurses are different are different & lower than that of any other service officers. However 6th CPC recommemded for same PB & GP for same designation.

Considering longer length of services Military nurses have to put for promotions they should have been given "One rank one Pay(OROP). while these ladies have to put 6, 12 & 20 years of services for promotion to Capt. Maj & Lt Col others to put only 3, 6, 11 years respectively for the same. Further when others become Col(TS) after 15 years of service there is no such TS promotion to Col for MNS.

With this track record of gender sensitivity of armed Forces & GoI's attitude towards it will further encourage sexual exploitations in defence forces.

as a result of latest order
