ReplyDeleteThat great news to cheer for. But does any body follow the pension issue of PBOR which appeared to be 70% in media. The blogs are full of PB4 issue but not even a single autheticates word for anyone on PBOR. Thats how our officer care for PBOR.

ReplyDeleteNothing to cheer.Where Lt Col has been fixed in pb4 and what GP has been given needs to be seen and only then future couse of action is to be planned.Hope we are not taken for a ride this time

ReplyDeleteArmy wanted good package only for middle level commanders-colonels SG and BRigs till 16 aug 08.LT col and below were clubbed with JCO,s for priveleges and travel entitlements.
When thre is no equivalent rank of lt col/col/brig why not ask for equal pay for these ranks based on service.
in bureaucracy promotion is from dy secretary to joint secretary directly.

ReplyDeleteHope this is not the same woman who said that the Forces can get their dues only by walking over her dead body or sothething to that effect. In order to honor her words I think some one is walking over the body of her ......... Hope now she does not insist that it is not enough untill someone walk over her dead body. The God is Great

ReplyDeleteSorry! Not me. I would defenitely like to walk over if needs be. Don't you think that it is this breed that caused unrest in BDR and trying to insenuate the same thing in India.
ReplyDeleteWith so many good people around such types does not get caught. Do you think she would have dared to make such statements in Pakisthan or to that matter in President Ohama's America.
By the way Mrs Nath is army officer,s wife if I am not wrong--I dont think she would have said that-incase she has made this statement it is really shameful--it is not she who is giving these benefits-IT is the Govt of India and IT IS NOT HER JAGIR

ReplyDeleteMrs Sushma Nath is a respectable IAS officer and a lady. Would she kidly see the fate of Military Nurses numbering only 3,000. Despite Pay Commission's recommendation gunning for same pay for same rank defence ministry issued separate pay scale for these nurses which is lower than that of the rest of armed forces. When a Lt col of military Nurse has been kept in PB-3 & GP Rs 6.100/- the rest of Lt cols are in PB-4 & GP Rs 8.000/-.

Military Nurses are a crying lot. Their genuine grievances are not met by a lady occupying the post of supreme commader of armed forces.

If lady military nurses are paid less pay with the same designation of male army offices then with the same logic lady president can be paid less salary compared to that of male presidents.
SL OFFICERS CANT GO FOR ANY COURCES NOR THEY CAN ENHANCE THEIR QUALIFICATION,WITH IN ORG SET UP.
